Privacy Policy

Purpose

Servey Task Sync is a private, personal-use automation that synchronizes selected task information between Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do for one household.

Google user data accessed

The application uses Google Tasks access to read and update task information required for synchronization. This may include task titles, notes, dates, completion status, task identifiers, list identifiers, and provider-generated modification metadata.

How Google user data is used

Google Tasks data is used only to provide task synchronization and related reconciliation functions. The automation may compare provider identifiers, modification timestamps, and normalized task values to determine which task needs to be created or updated.

How data is shared

Task data selected for synchronization may be transmitted to Microsoft To Do so the corresponding shared task can be created, updated, completed, or reopened. Because the Microsoft To Do list may be shared with household members, task titles, notes, dates, and completion status placed in that synchronized list may be visible to those members.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. It is not used for unrelated analytics, profiling, or marketing.

Storage

OAuth credentials and synchronization state are stored on a privately operated, self-hosted n8n system. Synchronization state may include provider task IDs, normalized hashes, timestamps, and list mappings. The public website does not store Google task data or OAuth credentials.

Security

Access to the private automation system is restricted. OAuth credentials are used only for the APIs needed by the synchronization. No system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable measures are used to limit access to the private infrastructure and credentials.

Retention and deletion

Task data remains in Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do according to the user's actions and those providers' retention practices. Local synchronization mappings may be retained while the automation is in use to prevent duplicate tasks and reconcile changes. They can be removed when the synchronization is retired.

User control

Access can be revoked at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops the automation from accessing Google Tasks until permission is granted again. Tasks can also be edited or removed directly through Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do, subject to the automation's documented synchronization behavior.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the application's handling of Google user data materially changes.

Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
